Both the Los Angeles and Long Beach campuses of Cal America have had fun cultural activities. In Long Beach and Los Angeles, there were Birthday Bashes for all July birthday students. This month there will be Birthday Bashes for all students at both campuses who were born in August.
Teacher Matt took a group of students Downtown today for a picnic lunch at the new Grand Park. But first they had to get lunch, so they stopped at Grand Central Market to find something to eat. The market is famous for it’s variety of foods and open-air atmosphere. After choosing a meal, they walked to the park, found some shade under a tree, and enjoyed the views of City Hall, the LA Times building, the new LAPD headquarters, and several other grand buildings.
Students from Los Angeles also went to a Dodger game with Teacher Zach at the famous Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Students had a wonderful time and enjoyed the Great American Pastime and experienced one of the most popular parts of American culture.
